Terms of Service
Last updated: [BRACKETED — human fill: e.g. June 23, 2026]
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the LotLiftr web application and Chrome extension (the “Service”) provided by [BRACKETED — human fill: legal entity name, e.g. LotLiftr, Inc.](“LotLiftr,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
LotLiftr scrapes a dealership’s designated inventory page, enriches listings with AI-generated copy, and helps your staff prefill the Facebook Marketplace vehicle listing form via a browser extension. LotLiftr provides per-rep tracking and a manager leaderboard.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for your dealership. Manager accounts are responsible for the conduct of reps they invite.
3. Acceptable use
- Only scrape inventory pages you own or are authorized to use.
- Do not post unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or infringing listings.
- Do not misrepresent vehicle condition, price, or availability.
- Do not use the Service to spam, harass, or evade platform limits.
- Do not reverse engineer, resell, or abuse the Service or its rate limits.
4. Facebook Marketplace — your responsibility
LotLiftr is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta or Facebook. The extension prefills the Facebook Marketplace listing form for convenience; a human reviews and submits every listing. LotLiftr never automatically submits or posts on your behalf. You and your reps are solely responsible for complying with Facebook’s and Meta’s terms, policies, and Commerce and Marketplace rules, and for the accuracy and legality of every listing you submit. We are not responsible for any account action Facebook takes against you.
5. Subscriptions, billing, and renewal
- Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Enterprise) are billed in advance on a recurring basis at the price shown at checkout ([BRACKETED — human fill: current pricing or “see pricing page”]) and processed by Stripe.
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period until canceled.
- You may cancel at any time through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and is not prorated unless required by law.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Failed payments may suspend scraping after a grace period.
- Plans differ by auto-refresh cadence and manual-refresh allowance, and all plans share a monthly scrape budget cap described on the pricing page.
6. Customer data and ownership
You retain ownership of your dealership data and inventory content. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service. Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties (including Supabase, Vercel, Firecrawl, Google Gemini, Stripe, Resend, Sentry, and Upstash). We are not responsible for outages or actions of those providers or of Facebook/Meta.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that scraping will capture every unit accurately or that AI-generated copy is error-free; you are responsible for reviewing all content before posting.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LotLiftr will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold LotLiftr harmless from claims arising out of your content, your listings, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of Facebook/Meta policies.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [BRACKETED — human fill: governing-law jurisdiction, e.g. the State of Delaware, USA], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located there.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
